Long story short, I had to get this to complete the Barbatos Lupus' look and its really worth getting. I got this from another local hobby store... I actually forgot the name XD But it's cool that they're the only that have it on stock and last piece too!

Gundam Review: HG IBO 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Lupus

Good evening everyone!

If you've been following me in instagram or twitter, you probably expect this review coming sooner or later.

I had a fun time building this kit despite the similarities it has with my previous kit review. I love the show and characters. It's so gritty and full of raw killing atmosphere.

Then again, compared to other universes, they're kinda left behind in the technology department. Despite that, these Gundam frames are still pieces of war machinery that showcased how powerful they are in their own way.

As I said in my previous review, I was very hesitant in buying the HG IBO 1/144 line due to the gundam kits being sticker dependent and that the grunt suits had better treatment.

I can paint the details but sometimes I'm lazy hahaha! Most of the 1/144 IBO kits try too keep their prices very cheap, hence the minimal color separations.

I got his kit from my local hobby store:

Do check them out, they have good prices for gunpla kits and they deliver locally and internationally!

Let's get it on!

HG IBO 1/144 Gundam Astaroth

Good afternoon everyone!

It's December! Wow, 2017 went by so fast.... Anyway, here I am with another gunpla review!

It's about time I got a kit from the IBO line. I love the show and the MS designs but I keep holding them off because a Master Grade might appear out of nowhere.

They do have the Full Mechanics 1/100 line but it's still not a Master Grade. It looks good but it still feels like a high end HG kit to me.

Anyway, another reason I keep brushing off IBO kits is because of how sticker heavy the kits are. It's nice that the kits are cheap but with a low price point means less colored parts.

Most of the HG kits look amazing and has awesome poseability but the usage of large foil stickers to cover big pieces is just a no no for me.

I can paint but I need motivation hahaha!

Also, this MS got my attention because of its asymmetrical design and weapons.

Let's get it on!

Gundam Review: HGUC 1/144 RX-78-2 Revive

Good Evening guys!

If you've been following me on instagram or twitter, you'll know how awesome this kit I'm gonna review.

Does it even need an introduction? Well, probably, since not everyone who builds gunpla is familiar with the history or lore associated with it.

Long story short, this guy is the Grand Daddy Gundam, the white devil, the big kahuna, the one where most gundams in the UC timeline are based on.

Also, this is from Bandai's recent HG releases with the tagline "Revive" They pretty much do something every 5th and 10th anniversary of the series.

This marks Bandai's 35th anniversary in the industry and as usual they release kits to associate this feat. The Revive line, as the name implies, upgrades some kits to today's standards, majority of the kits I saw are from the original MSG and Zeta series then they jumped to Seed/Destiny for some reason.

Anyway, let's discuss more in the review!

Gundam Review: HGUC 1/144 RX-78-2 Ver. G30th

Good afternoon guys!

So I said in my previous post that my HGUC 1/144 Unicorn Gundam is my last kit in the UC era... Well.... I lied XD

This is technically my first UC kit and my first RX-78-2 gundam that I got in my gunpla hobby run. I got him because the box art got my attention and also because I didn't  know there was an older HGUC variant.

My first HGUC kit and my 3rd oldest kit in my collection, it comes after my NG 1/144 Deathscythe Gundam and HG 1/144 Strike Noir Gundam.

After I built my Strike Noir, I can't help myself but to look for another kit I can build. Early gunpla builders can relate when you're just new into the hobby and the "poison" slowly consumes you.. LOL!

It's a fun hobby don't get me wrong that's why I can't contain myself from buying new kits even if I just built one.

Anyway, let's get on with the review!

HG 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode)

Good Morning everyone!

The last kit in my HGUC 1/144 scale, the other white horned devil. The one that always receives a lot of jokes because of its name.

Then again, it became one of the most iconic designs in Gundam history. Piloted by Banagher Links, a kid born from a rich bloodline but sadly he's illegitimate. His father still approves of him though and even entrusted the MS to him to protect the Laplaces box.

I can go on with the story but I'd recommend that you watch the ova series instead (It's has a 7 part mini movie series or the televised 25 eps format, just choose which one you can manage.)

Gundam Review: HG 1/144 LM312V04 Victory Gundam

Happy Sunday everyone!

Continuing my UC protagonist MS reviews, we'll time skip a bit near the end of the Universal Century. UC 0153 to be exact, it directly follows the events of F91 Gundam.

It follows around the adventure of Uso Ewin, the youngest protagonist in the Gundamverse, as member of the League Militaire, the AEUG like team fighting against the forces of the Zanscare Empire.

I haven't watched the actual show but I've seen clips of the MS in action as well as its upgrades and successors.

All I know is that this MS is mass produced and the frames are rather small, even smaller than the already tiny Wing kits. Also the show is infamous for being casualty heavy show meaning a lot of characters die... Think of Game of Thrones in space haha!

Anyway, let's get on with the review!

Gundam Review: HGUC 1/144 MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam

Good afternoon guys!

After my Zeta Gundam review, I went onto its successor. Piloted by Judau Ashta, claimed to be the strongest newtype in the UC era.

You can check out the Zeta Gundam review here:

Directly continues where Zeta Gundam left off, Judau takes the spotlight after Kamille succumbs to a a delusional state, an effect from Scirrocos newtype abilites.

Judau initially started with the Zeta Gundam at the beginning of the show and tends to get in all sorts of troubles with it. There was one episode where he used a Zaku head as a replacement for the damaged one and he was mistaken as an enemy lol.

Since Kamille's Zeta was a huge success, Anaheim Electronics continued developing it further and I came up with this beast, The ZZ Gundam.

Gundam review: HGUC 1/144 MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam

Good Afternoon guys!

A very hot afternoon here in the Philippines and despite the blazing glare of the sun, I still managed to make this post.

One electric fan isn't enough to lessen the rooms humidity... Well, what to do.

Anyway! What I have for you today is one of the first MS Gundam to ever have a transforming mechanism. Designed by Kamille Bidan (Yes, that's a mans name.) using an old Gundam RX-179 MK.II as his base frame.

Kamille is very talented individual for his young age both in written and practical aspects. He's also Newtype, a rare type of individual with heightened senses compared to an ordinary human being. A Newtype is basically the next step in human evolution and often occurs in beings living in space.

Let's get on with the review!

Gundam Review: HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam

Hey Guys!!

I present the original Daddy Gundam in High Grade goodness. The white devil of the one year war, the original Gundam piloted by none other than Amuro Ray \m/

Box art:

One of the reasons why I love the UC era is no matter how simple the mecha designs are, they are still one of the best designs I've seen compared to the modern ones. They look more realistic.

Sneak Peek Review: HGUC 1/144 MSN-04 Sazabi

So........

Here's the newest kit that I just bought yesterday :3

For people who read my tumblr, you guys know how much of a Char fan I am haha!! I finally found a regular Sazabi!! Why not the titanium finish you say?

Well... besides the fact that it's a whole lot expensive, it's not really worth it.... Problem is, finding this version is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery hard... trust me.. I've been looking for this for a year now...

I've always encountered it before but those times I don't have money to buy it.. When I do, someone bought it already D:

When I was in Malaysia, I saw a store loaded with this guy, problem is, if I buy there, I'll have a hard time taking it home since it has a huge box.. It's pretty huge for an HG kit..

You see the my HGUC Nu Gundam? he looks small right? haha

I'm not the only one excited for building this kit :D Amuro is excited to see Char :D (again, since I have a Zaku II)

I can finally do the display I've been dreaming off... RX-78-2 and RX-93 Nu Gundam vs Zaku II and Sazabi!!

For now, I need to decide which one I'll build first.. This guy or my overdue MG Freedom Gundam...

Stay tuned for my next build \m/

Gunpla this year.

Just sharing my thoughts :D
I have a great feeling that the gunpla line up this year will be awesome! A lot of awesome kits coming, from SD to HG to RG to MG scales.
Bandai sure has a lot up their sleeves! Can’t wait for more AGE kits, especially the AGE-3 being revealed so early @_@
The SD line are getting a few kits as well! Still debating if the SD Age-1 is worth it :3 I definitely want the BB knight gundam, it’s looking awesome and simplistic.
For the HG line, Universal Century is getting a lot of love this year, most notably the Gundam Unicorn suits. That Zaku Sniper is in my must buy kits :D If you’ve seen the episode that it appeared, you’ll know how bad ass that zaku is \m/ Also, the Delta Gundam is finally having its first official model form. Also, the AGE line keeps on coming and coming….. It’s like bandai’s pushing this shows limit XD It’s not even a year yet and AGE already has a crap load of HG and AG… Not to mention the incoming MG and SD scales @_@
Of course, the most recent series, AGE is finally being accepted my most people, it doesn’t have that “kiddy” feel to it anymore… For me, it’s a combination of previous series in terms of characters and plot. The AGE-3 suit is looking like ZZ gundam…. it separates into two parts @_@ and that massive weapon… It somehow resembles the Seravee from Gundam 00 as well XD
For MG, nothing much really, it’s just the Banshee and the AGE-1 Titus and Sparrow… I still think bandai is pulling a cheap trick by selling the AGE-1 3 times XD Why can’t they just include the extra runners in one box @_@ I’m sure people would want that more XD Unless, you badly want to display all 3 of them at once…
Why did they have to make Blitz Gundam next :/ I’m waiting for the Buster Gundam XD That’s my 2nd fave next to the Strike in the GAT machines \m/ I do plan to complete the GAT series :D just the first 5…. I don’t like the others…
WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET AN MG FOR GUNDAM X?! seriously…….. I’m sure I’m not the only one waiting for it…. C’mon bandai, listen to your people XD Stop pushing AGE, it’s already on the hot spot XD too much and it might loose its touch :3
For the Real grade… Bandai sure is random with their line up but I love it :D Didn’t expect the RX-178 to be next.. In both colors too @_@ I was expecting Zeta Gundam or 00 Raiser XD I’ve been wanting to buy a RG for quite some time now, I just can’t decide which one though @_@ they’re all awesomely good @_@
There you have it, my insights on the upcoming kits :D Another year of spending like crazy :)) I seriously need to add more space for displaying -_-
Can’t wait to build those kits I badly want XD

Gundam Review: HG 1/144 Hyaku Shiki

Hello guys! posting this just now means I got lazy yesterday haha!! But here it is, the original gold mobile suit, the Hyaku Shiki.

Time for another history lesson, well, I'll summarize most of it XD

Hyaku shiki means "Type 100" in japan. This was seen in the show Gundam Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, one of the AEUG's front liners in combat along with the Zeta Gundam, RX-178, Methuss and the Rick Dias. This mobile suit is piloted by Quattro Bajeena (A.K.A. Char Aznable).

During the production of this suit, it was originally called the Delta Gundam and was supposed to be a transforming mobile suit just like the Zeta Gundam. During the time, the mechanics aren't able to make the transformation possible thus scrapping the idea and then modified instead to make the Hyaku Shiki. Some time later, they managed to make that system work, thus creating the Delta Plus. Anyway, the Hyaku Shiki has a gold color because of it anti-beam coating. At the time, giving a suit anti-beam cotaing is very expensive but not for Char. So I guess he wanted the extra protection haha!

This was last seen fighting Haman Karn in her Quebley and was destroyed in battle.

Screw it, like you'll read all of that hahaha!!

Let's start with the review :D

Here's the Box art:

Since it's from the UC era, it will have that generic black box and the mobile suit in front of it. Aside from that, I love how detailed these boxes are nowadays. Oh yeah, this kit comes in 2 forms, this one and the one packed with mega bazooka launcher. The difference is asside from the bazooka is that the suit has a dull yellow-ish gold instead of the shining shimmering gold :D

Sneak peek Review: SD and HG

Hello guys! Here's my loot for today :D I was suppose to buy 2 more but I'll be broke XD

So I chose the ones the I really want the most :3

Namely:

- SD RX-78-2 the re-released version, with opening parts to reveal the inner frame
- HG 1/144 Hyaku Shiki, Char's Gold mobile suit :D

I was suppose to but the HG 1/144 Guntank and Guncannon too but I'll be exhausting my savings hahaha!!

So yeah... I'll do the SD first :D stay tuned for the review \m/
